Washington Christmas tree farm questions

When do Christmas tree farms open in Washington?

Bacon's Christmas Tree Farm near Bremerton opens first, on Saturday 14 November 2026. 7 farms open on Saturday 21 November, including Trinity and Enchanted Winds in Issaquah, Coates in Auburn, Wilson Hill in Maple Valley, Pilchuck Secret Valley near Arlington, Farrell Farms in Washougal and Veley Farm near Spokane. 15 more open on Friday 27 November, the day after Thanksgiving.

Where can I cut my own Christmas tree near Seattle?

Closest in are McMurtrey's Red-wood farm in Redmond (U-cut by reservation from 27 November) and Trinity and Enchanted Winds in Issaquah (from 21 November). South of the city, Coates and Honeytree in Auburn's Green Valley and Wilson Hill in Maple Valley; east, Fall City Farms for one weekend, 5 and 6 December. In North Bend, Cedar Falls opens the day after Thanksgiving, 27 November; Christmas Creek there hasn't posted 2026 dates yet.

Where are the Christmas tree farms in Snohomish County?

Christmas at the Farm (Dairyland) in Snohomish opens its Douglas fir U-cut on Thanksgiving Day at $79.99 any size. Pilchuck Secret Valley near Arlington opens on 21 November, King Family Farms in Lake Stevens cuts by reservation from 22 November, and Red Rooster Ranch in Granite Falls opens for Thanksgiving weekend only. Stocker Farms and Wintergreen in Snohomish haven't posted 2026 dates yet.

Where can I cut a Christmas tree near Spokane?

Veley Farm in Deer Park from 21 November, with nine species at $95 any tree. Carver Farms in Newman Lake opens on 27 November, $100 any tree, with a reservation for each tree. Wildland on Green Bluff cuts on 27, 28 and 29 November only, also by reservation. Holly Lane is by appointment, and G's in Chattaroy has posted a date that doesn't match the calendar.

How much does a Christmas tree cost in Washington?

Bacon's 2026 prices are $12 a foot for Douglas fir and $14 for noble, Nordmann and grand, tax included; Honeytree's 2026 guide is about $11 to $17.50 a foot. Farrell and Klopman in Washougal charge $8 to $10 a foot. Several farms charge one price for any tree: Dairyland $79.99, Veley $95, Red Rooster and Carver $100. Going by those prices, a 6 to 7 ft noble fir comes to roughly $60 to $120.

Can I bring my dog to a Washington Christmas tree farm?

At many of them. Leashed dogs are welcome at Enchanted Winds, McMurtrey's, Coates, Wilson Hill, Ohop Ridge, Pilchuck Secret Valley, Dairyland, Red Rooster, Alpine Meadows, Farrell, Klopman and the Tree Wisemans. Shining Star, Schilter, Fall City Farms, King Family (in the trees), Stocker, Veley, Carver and Holly Lane don't allow dogs, so check the card before you go.

How these were checked

About a hundred and ten Washington listings were read on each farm’s own website on 17 Oct 2026. A 2026 date appears only where the farm itself has posted it, and every one was checked against the 2026 calendar: Thanksgiving is Thursday 26 November this year, so a farm still advertising “Friday, November 28” is showing last season. Two farms have posted a 2026 date on the wrong weekday; their cards say so and carry no date until it is fixed.

The growers’ association directories and the news roundups were used only to find farms, never for a date or a price. Spot something that has gone stale? Say so and it gets fixed.
