Dog-friendly pumpkin patches near Houston

Most farms near Houston keep dogs out because of their own animals. Three patches welcome dogs on a lead this year, all of them free or $5, and three more hold a day for pets. Here’s every farm’s answer, from its own website or from the farm directly, checked for 2026.

Dogs welcome on a lead

Pet days

Ask before you go

These don’t say whether dogs are allowed, so call or message them first.

No dogs

In Dallas–Fort Worth, three of the four places on our Grapevine page don’t allow dogs, and the Dallas Arboretum doesn’t say.

Wherever you go, don’t leave a dog in the car. Blessington Farms makes the point on its own rules page, and October in Houston is still warm.

Outside Houston, these are the patches that told us, on their own websites or by email, that dogs are welcome.

Dogs at Texas pumpkin patches: questions

Is there a dog-friendly pumpkin patch in Texas?

Yes. Near Houston, Rosehill Pumpkins in Tomball and the patch at FCC Katy welcome dogs on a lead. Near San Antonio, Universal City Pumpkin Patch welcomes well-behaved pets every day and Bulverde Pumpkin Patch welcomes dogs. Near Austin, Round Rock Pumpkin Festival allows dogs on a lead, and near Fort Worth, Clark Gardens does too, at no charge.

Which Texas pumpkin patches have a pet day?

The Watershed Church in League City (Pets in the Patch, 3 Oct), the Nature Discovery Center in Bellaire (dog costume parade, 18 Oct), Universal City’s “Wags” Wednesdays near San Antonio, and La Union Maze near El Paso (Bring Your Dog to the Maze Day, 8 Nov).

Can I bring my dog to a corn maze in Texas?

Mostly not: At’l Do Farms in Lubbock, Hall’s in Grapevine, El Paso’s Corn Maze and Mesilla Valley Maze don’t allow dogs. The exception is La Union Maze near El Paso, on its dog day, Sunday 8 November.

How these were checked

Each listing was built from the farm's own website, calendar and ticket pages, then confirmed by email where those pages disagreed with one another. The date of that check sits on every listing above.

Rosehill confirmed its dog rule by email. FCC Katy’s comes from the church itself, and Harvest Season’s from the farm. The rest come from each farm’s own rules, FAQ or event pages, read on 22 September. HALTER’s rules page still shows 2025, so treat that one as last year’s.
